Going through customs yesterday was a trip -- at the aduana the customs official took our declaration and then had me press a button that was attached to a semoforo -- a red-green stop light (I wish I took a photo). If the light turned red you had to have your bags searched. If it turned green, you could leave the airport without being searched. We passed. Which was a good thing -- the manchego tucked in my backpack for Jenny and Antonio did not get confiscated. Yesterday was a Spanish day -- beers poolside at the Centrol Español, manchego with beers at the house, and homemade tortilla de patatas and gazpacho for dinner -- gracias Don Antonio!
