Moving on...

After a roller coaster ride of a life here in Copán Ruinas, Honduras, Antonio and Jenny (and the little sweet potato) are moving on. We'll be moving to San Salvador mid-April, where Jenny has accepted an amazing job with an educational think tank called FEPADE. The position is head of a teacher training program that will be implemented in 500 rural schools, and Jenny will work with an all-Salvadoran staff to improve the quality of reading and writing in these rural areas. It's a huge move up professionally, but more than that, Antonio is hopeful that the big city will offer more opportunities for him than the small town life did.

Now that we'll be living 30 minutes from the beautiful beaches of El Salvador, we're hoping to attract more Beaconers to come hang with us. Maybe you're not too motivated now that Boston's getting hot and beautiful, but remember us when the weather turns snowy next winter...
